Located on the west coast of the Iberian Peninsula and bordering the Atlantic Ocean, Portugal is home to approximately 10.4 million people. Just over 47,000 UK citizens now live in Portugal permanently, and Britons remain the single largest group of overseas holiday‑makers, topping hotel guests in the first half of 2023 alone. But this bond with Portugal is about more than just sunshine.
Steady human traffic is mirrored by trade: total UK exports to Portugal amounted to £3.5 billion in the four quarters to the end of Q4 2024 (an increase of 3.3% or £114 million in current prices).
It’s no wonder, then, that pallet delivery to Portugal from the UK is so common. The need to ship household possessions, retail stock and raw materials between the two countries means trade is thriving. So, whether you’re relocating to the Algarve or resupplying a wine distributor in Porto, ParcelBroker keeps the logistics simple. We’ll help you send a pallet to Portugal at a low cost, with simple procedures.
First, fill out our online order form with your pallet information. Select from a variety of standard sizes or enter specific dimensions.
Quarter, half, and full pallet options are available, each with clear limits (250 kg/80 cm, 500 kg/110 cm, and 1,000 kg/200 cm), so you can match the form to the footprint and avoid paying for unused capacity.
We’ll display a range of courier quotes for pallet shipping to Portugal. All the information you need will be listed here, including estimated delivery times, prices and any further requirements.

When you send a pallet to Portugal, goods should not overhang the edge of the pallet base. This can lead to damage which will not be covered, as well as additional charges for more delivery space.
Palletised goods must be secured with shrink wrapping, ratchet straps, rope or banding. The pallet may be reloaded up to 8 times during delivery and must be stable; take care to avoid packing a top-heavy pallet.
You should also make sure that goods are given sufficient protection against damage. Consider wrapping them in bubble wrap, cardboard, polystyrene, or other packaging materials.
Pallets may be stacked to maximise the usage of space in delivery vehicles. If this is not suitable for your goods, it should be clearly displayed on the outside of the pallet.
Engine parts and gearboxes must be shipped through our dedicated delivery service – call 0871 288 5741 for a quote.
