International exports to Australia are subject to region specific and international export laws, and it is important that you check the specific regulations for exports to your destination area. Some examples of generally prohibited and restricted items are:
Prohibited items - Australia prohibits sending certain items into the country, and it is important to familiarise yourself with these; especially if you are unsure of the items you are sending.
Restricted items - If you are sending restricted items into the country, you need to ensure that the guidance is followed. This means that all necessary paperwork must be included, as well as relevant labels and documentation displayed clearly.
We have included examples of both prohibited and restricted items below (as provided by the Australian Border Force).
Once you have created your order, ParcelBroker will provide you with all necessary labels, so you can print and attach them to your package before sending.
Food exports to Australia are subject to general worldwide regulations. Food items you can send to Australia include store bought foods in their original manufacturer’s packaging, foods labelled with ingredients, and food that features an expiry date of more than 6 months. To send a parcel to Australia that contains food, you must follow strict guidelines outlined by the Australian Border Force.
Certain items, like biscuits, bread, cakes and pastries, can enter the country if the exporter follows certain conditions (e.g., they are for personal consumption and shelf-stable). However, other foods, like seafood, wheat, and dairy products, must meet strict regulations. Some foodstuffs, like rice or whole eggs, are completely banned.
With ParcelBroker, you can ship parcels up to 50 kg in weight via couriers such as UPS, DHL and FedEx.
